The Attic Youth Project is an organisation for young people aged 11-18 years. We are a group who welcome any young person regardless of gender, ethnicity, social status, sexual orientation and disability.
The Attic Youth Project Leaders Team is made up of local Christian volunteers who all attend St John’s Church, Owlerton (on Penistone Road).
Aims & Objectives
Our main aims are to:
- Provide a safe, appropriate, welcoming and enjoyable environment to all young people in our community
- To be a place which is relevant to young people
- To be a youth project with a good reputation, which works in partnership and forms positive relationships with young people, parents, families, police, local businesses, schools etc.
- To raise aspirations within young people
- To enable young people to be a positive part of their community
