S6YN (S6 Youth Network) is a network of youth groups from churches across the S6 area. The leaders of the groups meet together to support each other and plan events for young people.
In June we ran a weekend conference called Contagious Hope, which was a great success. Over the weekend we ran workshops, had team games, played on inflatables and had a bhangra dance session. Paul Bell led worship and we were also joined by Leonie and Adam Barrett and Jude Simpson.
We have just returned from a week away in Wales where 50 of us stayed at Pentrenant Hall. The week was called Hope in His Presence, and we had loads of fun doing workshops, playing games, small group times, having a day out in Aberystwyth, archery, art, hip hop sessions and other exciting things.
S6YN are planning socials and events for the next few months as a follow up to the relationships built in Wales.
