The Kidz Klub ministry has moved from Hillsborough to the Winn Gardens estate at Middlewood. Through our long-term presence and the weekly visiting over the last three years and the mission last summer, we have gained a great deal of respect and favour among the people.
It is a very significant factor for the community that we are making the effort to come to them. This has been received very warmly, and we have been offered free use of the community Pavilion at the heart of the estate. We have therefore decided to run Kidz Klub in this venue in a different form and with smaller groups of children.
This enables us to do more creative activities and to engage with the children in a more personable way. The teaching, worship time and spiritual input will be more interactive, and we are praying that this will help the children to greater spiritual growth. Kidz Klub runs every Saturday, 10.00am – 11.00am for 5-9 year olds.
The teaching is geared to the issues that concern the children, making the gospel relevant to their family situations and environment. We pray too, that this ongoing ministry will open opportunities for us to be far more involved with whole families. We will continue the weekly visiting, but this will also involve specific family visits and follow-up in response to particular needs.

Our prayer is that God’s grace and power will touch people’s lives, families will come to faith and that our presence, being church, in the community (in the broadest sense) will be a catalyst for community transformation in all kinds of ways.
