An evening of live music in aid of the Pakistan Flood appeal and New Life Children’s Home – India. Venue: Memorial Hall, Forbes Road, Hillsborough. 7.30pm – 11pm. Ticket £5 available from James Cutts or on the door.

Saltmine Theatre presents Secret Believers

This is a production by Saltmine, a Christian theatre company, in cooperation with Open Doors; it is about Christians who have to keep their faith in Jesus a secret.

Starting full-time school is an important time for both parent and child. It can also be daunting and nerve-wracking. We believe that a vital part of the many preparations for this big step is to pray for your child and dedicate them into God’s loving care and protection. We would like to invite you, your child and your family to a short service of dedication and celebration of this special occasion in their lives, on Sunday 5^th September at 3pm, at St John the Baptist Church, Owlerton (Penistone Road opposite Pizza Hut).

The service will last about 30 minutes and will include activities and interaction for the children. Refreshments and snacks will be provided afterwards.
